Carlos González
EXECUTIVE COACH
Carlos González is LCG Group, Chief Operating Officer, Executive Coach and Startups Consultant. He is the former QSC VP for the Ohio Region and previously Latin America providing management and oversight operational process for 1800 restaurants with over 4 billion dollars in revenues in Latin America. In this role, he provides leadership, alignment, and integration between Franchisees, Home Office, and Latin America, focusing on QSC, profitability, ROI, franchising, people, and customer satisfaction. He serves as a member of the strategic worldwide operations board.
Carlos started with McDonald’s in 1981 in Winnetka, Illinois as a crew member while attending high school. Between 1985 and 1995, he worked his way up to Restaurant Manager positions and relocated to several countries in the Latin American Region, including Venezuela, Mexico and Chile. In those countries, he held Area Supervisor, Field Consultant and Operations Manager, and Field Service Manager and Operations Manager for Operations Technology in Home Office to Director of Operations, Great Lakes Division.
In 1999, he was promoted to Director of Field Service for the Andean Region. During his tenure, he was responsible for 170 restaurants in four countries (Venezuela, Colombia, Peru and Ecuador) that accrued $250 million in revenues for the region. He was also responsible for selecting new sites. In 2004, he became the Worldwide Operations Director, a critically strategic role linking world areas, Home Office and the Innovation Center.
Carlos completed the Leadership at McDonald’s Program (LAMP) in 2008 and successfully received a diploma in Managerial Issues in the Global Enterprise from Thunderbird University. He also completed an Advanced Executive Management program from Monte Avila University in Venezuela.
Carlos also earned a diploma in Advanced International Marketing from the International Hamburger Marketing University in Chicago (IMHU). He completed three years of studies in Industrial Engineering at the University of Wisconsin.
