LCG Group LLC Founder and president, Marlene González, specializes in leadership development, team effectiveness, and executive coaching. Her primary goal is to advance, develop, and promote minority leaders. She is a renowned executive coach and facilitator, passionate about training and development.
Marlene is the author of the Leadership Wizard coaching series, the #1 New Release book in the Education and Leadership category. Her book series focuses on transformational leadership topics and offers easy-to-implement actions with a straight-to-the-point approach.
To share her insights and resources on transformational leadership, Marlene combines Insights Discovery, the psychology of C. G. Jung, neuroscience, and her corporate career experience and professional coaching expertise. She partners with organizations to inspire and transform individuals and teams. Through studying various psychological techniques and exercises, she aims to understand what makes a leader confident, assertive, and emotionally resilient to stress.
Marlene is a first-generation Venezuelan American who has held corporate executive positions in the US, Europe, and Latin America. Previously, she served as the Senior Director of Global Training, Learning, and Development for McDonald’s Corporation. Marlene holds a B.S., an Executive MBA/PAG, and a graduate diploma in managerial issues in the global enterprise from Thunderbird University.
She also has a Professional Certified Coaching credential from the International Coaching Federation, a global partnership with Insights Discovery based in the United Kingdom, and a neuroscience certification for business from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MIT, Sloan School of Management.
Marlene González is a doctoral candidate in organizational neuroscience from the Monarch Business School in Switzerland. This shows her commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in leadership development, executive coaching and team dynamics. Her academic pursuits complement her extensive professional experience and enable her to provide cutting-edge solutions and insights to her clients.
In her free time, Marlene enjoys cooking, reading, trekking, and exploring the world for new experiences with her husband, Carlos. They reside in Chicago, Illinois.
